SINGLE-ZONE CONTROLLER FOR ELECTROMAGNETICALLY RETAINED FIRE DOORS

Once a fire has been detected, this controller allows the release of electromagnetic door retainers, thereby closing the fire doors, and an alarm signal that is able to be reset using a manual control

Tested in accordance with regulation BS EN 54 part 2 and part 4

Regulation EN 54 refers to the Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC

Regulation EN 54-2 concerns control and indicating equipment for fire detection and fire alarm systems

Regulation EN 54-4 concerns power supply equipment for fire detection and fire alarm systems

The 52002 single-zone controller was designed and manufactured in accordance with regulation EN 54 part 2 and part 4, and is particularly suited for fire prevention installations of small dimensions. 

It can control up to 4 electromagnetic door retainers and 10 fire and smoke detectors.

3. 1 output for connection with an external acoustic alarm ( additional siren ) functioning in parallel with the internal alarm of the exchange
4. 1 output on the COM/NA/NC contacts of the relay (2 A) for external signalling of the ‘out of order’/fault status of the exchange

1. Signalling of the presence/absence of mains power
2. Signalling of the presence/absence of the auxiliary (battery) power
3. Check on the quality of the battery
4. Suppressing of the alarm signal from the exchange
5. Reactivation of the alarm signal following a new alarm signal from any one of the detection devices
6. Possibility of manually placing the exchange out of order for maintenance purposes
7. Identification and signalling (visual and acoustic) of the efficiency of the sensor and remote fire alarm activation button lines
